Hi everyone
1. I'm travelling to Turkey and Greece in October (with my children and
partner) and would like to know if anyone has any experience/hints on
travelling in these two countries as a celiac. The main focus will be
turkey - Istanbul (of course), Fethiye and Capodoccia - with a couple of
days in Athens and Monemvassia in Greece. Fortunately we'll be staying
in rented houses for two out of three weeks in Turkey, so will be able
to prepare most of our own meals. By the way, these homes appear
fantastic, and are unbelievably cheap! If you're interested I can pass
on your details to the woman who owns them.
2. I have just been diagnosed with Psoriatic Spondylarthropathy - and am
having a hard time with the treatment and the pain - any hints? Is this
common amongst celiacs? I believe that this type of arthritis can be
either from Psoriasis or Celiac disease - I opted for the Psoriatic
type! What are the longterm effects of this disease - in reality - not
in textbooks? I would love to e-mail someone who has it so I can learn
more about it and hopefully get it under control, without too many
hideous drugs.
Thanks
Wendy
