Simple Gene Test

I just read the post about the "Simple Gene Test".  You can order this
test through the mail, swab the inside of your cheek, mail it back and
you will be able to find out if you have the gene that leads to celiac
disease. I went to the web site  (www.finerhealth.com)  and found other,
more involved tests as well involving stool samples.

Is this something new?  It was my understanding that the only sure way
to diagnose celiac disease was through an endoscopy & blood test.
