Interesting article on celiac as a cause of anemia. It appears that when
they test women of menstrual age, who have iron deficiency anemia, about 6
pecent test out for celiac. -vance

CELIAC DISEASE OVERLOOKED AS CAUSE OF IRON-DEFICIENCY ANEMIA
Especially in menstruating women, celiac disease appears to be
underinvestigated as a potential cause of iron-deficiency anemia, according
to data published in the current issue of the British Journal of
Haematology, dated December.
