Is there anything that works for intestinal pain? This morning woke up at
4am with stomach cramps so bad I could barely stand up in the shower, I
called in sick to work (have only been back 2 days since a month off for
this stuff) and now, at 3pm am having diarrhea and the pain is starting to
decrease although still unable to focus or walk around. Suspecting I ate
something with gluten in it yesterday, but I'm not sure what. I'm back on
the gf diet despite testing negative for celiac after a gluten challenge and
biopsy 'cause it seems to help, and would like to know if this isn't celiac
what it is..but I guess that's for later doc visits. I took a levsin this
morning, was told it would help for these incidents, but it didn't do a
thing. So I'm wondering if anyone else out there has tried anything that
works for pain relief when you are having a gluten reaction. I'm looking
for something that would enable me to continue working, so narcotics and
anything sedating are out..although today I'd take whatever it took to
reduce pain if I had it.
