Hi list mates!

I received many e~mails validating that celiacs
struggle with secondary food sensitivities and
allergies. Many recognized a correlation between their
symptoms and specific food items on the histamine list.

One list mate wondered if I was suggesting that celiac
was an allergy...and I clarified NO...the post was to
meant to stimulate an awareness that many symptoms we
might automatically blame on gluten contamination might
be a secondary food sensitivity...several people
responded that they believed that being UNdiagnosed for
so long, their immune system developed additional
auto-immune responses to foods and or environment. One
stated that she was still developing new food
allergies, even after being gluten free for months!

One mate asked where I got the list:

About.com Allergies has lots of info on food allergies
and intolerances, with links.

Onward and upward!
