Siobhan,

I borrowed the word "heavy" from an earlier post in the thread.  I prefer
not to use it myself because its ambivalent, to say the least.

I think that the post-meal fatigue people are reporting is largely a
function of eating too many "bad" carbs (starches, grains, simple sugars),
made worse by eating too many calories at any one time.
