Yes, in other words (as I said) it isn't paleo, but is there
any *other* reason not to use it? One of the things I like
about the Paleolithic diet is that there is research to back
so many aspects of it up.

For many of the food items that are not paleo the author
lists research that shows negative health impacts of eating
them, but he lists no particular ones for vinegar. So, I am
wondering if there are any studies or research that indicate
vinegar causes negative side effects to your health?

True, but it would be much easier if I didn't have to make
up a special batch of some condiment everytime I wanted a
spoonful for some recipe. If there is no negative health
effects to small amounts of vinegar in the diet, using store
bought condiments would be considerably easier.
