self acceptance is one of the keys to living life with some measure of
happyness. if we do not like what we are or don't accept what we are, we are
destined to have an unhappy life, because one person that we have to live
with is ourself.

Kathy,

I know that I sometimes get frustrated with your postings about your
acceptance of your disability and that you're a little different, I know I
am too. However, I feel it's important to understand that everybody who has
received the gift of life has different feelings and thoughts. I must say
that I'm beginning to think you feel that we're living in the age of science
and knowledge, the ability to fix everything besides Cerebral Palsy. It
isn't just you who thinks that way, we have people visiting hospitals
wanting plastic surgery just because they feel they aren't pretty enough.
I'm asking, when does it stop because I feel we shouldn't try to make
ourselves out to be somebody that we aren't already and just live life with
whatever we have and however we have to live it.

Thanks,
Anthony
