I am surprised you found this in Philly and NYC. "Fried matzoh" sounds
like a Southern concoction. I remember eating my first bagel at 2 A.M. one
morning on Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn. Also, I had a Nigerian teach me what was
good for breakfast
in Tel Aviv. Only regional food which was disappointing was smoked salmon in
Portland, OR..
