i guess i came from the same stock. my dad had to put black pepper on his

Yeah. I guess it's not really southern "plantation" cooking, anyway. More
like southern "white trash" cooking, I think <g>.
Mom gave me a book called "White Trash Cookbook" a few years back. Most of
the recipes I could relate too, but I really cracked up when I saw the
recipe for "Tomato and Mayonnaise Sandwiches Over the Kitchen Sink"! I knew
I was classic white trash then!

i guess people like us that like soul food is a small group. even black folk
i know that still eat soul food is a smaller group and growing smaller as
age takes the older ones.
