      Two weeks ago, a neighbour bumped into Chelsea Craig's mother sitting
quietly over a cup of coffee in a Pointe Claire bakery.
      "She was all alone," the neighbour said. "I thought to myself, 'You
poor thing.' "
      But no one, it appears, could have imagined just how alone Rachel
Capra-Craig was feeling.
      Yesterday, she lay in a hospital as police prepared to charge her with
first-degree murder in the death Monday of her severely handicapped
