Hi Chester,

Pine is available running under Windows:-

        http://www.washington.edu/pine/pc-pine/

It is an e-mail "client" (just as Outlook, Eudora, etc. are "client"
mail programs). Your ISP runs an E-Mail "server" (80% of the web uses
Unix for their mail servers). I notice that Yahoo (your E-mail
provider) are using a mail "server" called "qmail" which is a Unix
program:-

You are right - Pine, was originally written for unix, but you can
now get the Windows version. Setting it up may be fun though!!
