The HTX-202 is quite useable.  The menus are quite predictable and
although you loose your setting when doing a complete reset, you end up
in a predictable state.  There are some audio clues.  the only task
which you may find slightly frustrating is choosing a PL tone.  However,
with the proper chart and if one  pays close attention, even this can be
done.  There is no good way, though, of telling what PL tone a given
repeater uses.

But I think it's a great radio -- especially for the price.
