EASI's webcast http://www.rit.edu/~easi
Dr. Larry Scadden from the National Science Foundation talks to two college
students with disabilities who wondered why there wern't more students with
disabilities in science and engineering at Arizona State. They did
something about it. They applied for a grant from NSF and got it. Hear how
they have helped middle school students understand that science,
engineering and math can be a career for all.
Note: EASI's next online workshop starts right after Thanksgiving and runs
til just before Christmas. It is on adaptive computer technology,
Barrier-Free Education Technology and will set forth the general outlines
of how to make a campus information technology barrier-free. Adaptive
Technology is the ramp to information like ramps provide access to buildings.
