I posted a note about palm oil a while back, hoping to get some opinions. I
bought some organic unprocessed (cold pressed) palm oil (contains no palm
kernel oil, the label notes) from Fresh Fields (Whole Foods) market. It is
marketed as "organic shortening" but contains nothing artificial. I am using
it for higher temperature sauteeing to reduce my use of clarified butter.
Anyone have any opinions or info on palm oil?

Thanks!
