Just to add my two cents in here.....I find that I can control the cravings in
two ways: 1) I soak my nuts and seeds -- this tends to lessen their
addictiveness/taste really really good component 2)I make sure that I am getting
enough magnesium in my diet (I take a supplement in combination with vit. C and
calcium)-- I find that I crave nuts high in magnesium when I am low in this and
when I make sure I get enough Mg...the craving goes away. I've heard that Mg
cravings are one reason some people crave chocolate so much. Just something to
think about.
