All meat triggers an insulin response, with certain amino acids
and certain fatty acids provoking a greater insulin response than
others. It would be nice if someone would compare the insulin
response to grain-fed meat to pasture-fed meat. To my knowledge,
this hasn't been done.

This sounds right to me, although it would be nice to have some
hard data.
