Hi Bobby,
I certainly have been impressed, the amount of kindness and
friendship we received, whilst "other events" were foremost in
evreybodys' minds was truly indicative of the innate goodness and
friendliness of everyone we met (even the v. large black american in
Philadelphia who suggested I donate $10 for him to let me "push in"
in front of him whil waiting at lights in the left hand lane of what
I erroneously thought was a one way street!! - at least did it with
humour (and let me in!!)).
I have just spoken to Betty (to let her know we got back home safe),
her Computer is back on line, and she'd like to be reactivated on the
list. (Unfortunately my ISP has routing problems to US and I can't
get onto Maelstrom, could you or Ken call up her details
<[log in to unmask]> and tick the "Regular Mail" tab (she's currently
"No Mail").
Cheers
Deri
