Subject:
fatigue/exhaustion - SUMMARY

"I'm wondering if any of you have experienced extreme fatigue/exhaustion
prior to going gf even though you didn't have malabsorption. Did it go
away after going gf?"

Summary of responses:

22 replied that the fatigue/exhaustion disappeared after being gf for a
period of time. Some said within days, others within months or years.
Several suggested I have test run for iron deficiency.

2 replied that the fatigue/exhaustion had not disappeared or lessoned.
It was also pointed out that Dr. Fine's stool test may not show
malabsorption until it is fairly significant - so malabsorption could
still be present.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to respond to my question. I
am encouraged by your responses.
