Thanks to all who contributed to my query. here's the
summary of all who responded.
All said Armour by Fores is indeed Here's what they said:
For other medications, call Stokes Medical Arts Pharmacy at
(800)754-5222 and ask for them to send you their book A
Celiac guide Through The Medicine Cabinet.
I found a list of medications for celiacs on celiac.com.
It's an updated site, which helps.
You might check out ClanThompson.com They, for a fee, supply
really good info on drugs and foods.
Clan Thompson has a website and a $3.00 publication that is
handy.
I just found out from my dietician that there's a pharmacy in
New Jersey that publishes a book called Guide Through the
Medicine Cabinet. It lists over the counter medication and
whether or not it's gluten free. I just called to order it.
It's $22.20. The name of the pharmacy is Stokes Pharmacy at
800 754-5222 - www.stokesrx.com <http://www.stokesrx.com>.
They say they will also make up medication gluten free if
what you need is not available that way.
Yes, this is a GF product according to my guide book on GF
products. It is also lactose free.
Rest assured that Armour Thyroid by Fores is G-F. I take it
every day. It really helps in so many ways. My pharmacist
did the research for me and I have no problems. I'm
extremely gluten-sensitive, so I would know.
I take Armour and have been told that yes it is gluten free.
I have had other celiac's tell me the same thing.
