Dear all at disforum, another question for wednesday.

As part of the art and design course at the university,
students are given the opportunity to go to new York for a
week to look at art galleries.
One of the people going on the trip this time is a
wheelchair user who usually uses an electric chair but has
decided to use a manual chair just for the flexibility it
offers.
She however does require a support worker to assist her
around in her chair around the big apple (manhatten to be
precise).

Due to the cost involved it's unlikely that a support
worker from our university will be going with her but
we're wondering if anybody can help us with these queries?

- Does anybody know of any agencies who may be able to help
in the Manhatten area of New York, does anybody have any
connections with any university there?
- Has this ever happened to anybody before and how was it
resolved?

Hope you will be able to help us.

Many thanks

g
