From what I have read, many of the proteins in goat's milk are the same
as cow's milk. Some people who can't have cows milk can have goat's
milk. Only try goat's milk if you are prepared for her to have the same
reaction to goat's milk as to cows milk.

I tried goat's milk cheese shortly after removing dairy from my diet.
My digestive system hadn't completely recovered from the effects of the
dairy, making it difficult to know if the minor symptoms I had were
caused by the cheese or by a combination of the cheese and the state of
my digestive system. I will try it again in a few months. If my
reaction to the cheese was more than minor I would not try the cheese
again. The only dairy substitues that I can find that don't something I
have to avoid are a few soy milks and 1 almond milk. Milk I can do
without easily, cheese has been much harder.

My .02 worth.

Joanne
