I'm thinking of buying this Canon scanner and was wondering if any of you
had any experience with this combination. The FS web site warns that the
scanner will stop after about 75 pages and ask to be re-calibrated and I
don't know what that means--do you have to take it in to a dealer for
re-calibration or is it a button on the machine....?

Any information would be very much appreciated.

The scanner I am getting rid of is an HP 6300 C. With both Open Book 6 and
the default HP test scan, it takes 4-5 minutes to warm up each time I want
to scan. All my drivers have been updated from the HP web site and are
current. I suspect the scanner is burning out but if any of you are
familiar with these symptoms and have a fix, I'd appreciate hearing about
that, too.

Thanks,

Cynthia
