My definition of paleo involves being a H-G using the supermarket and what
it can supply so as to best approximate what we would have eaten over the
millions of years.

I do not want to eat insects, and
I do not want to grow my own food, and
I do not have the time or money to pursue exotic or expensive solutions,

but by applying paleo principles I can be much healthier than I otherwise
would be.

If this means eating pigs and cows, so be it. If this means consuming some
flaxseed oil, fine. I eat vitamins too. On the whole, it is not possible to
eat a "true" paleo diet if you are going to eat supermarket food, but I
think you can do very well anyway compared to any other way of eating.
