I have problems with red meat, too; it gets caught where there used to be
teeth. I had four good teeth pulled as part of my exciting orthdontic
adventure. I like the end result (straight teeth) but those gaps are bigger
than they should be, leaving room for meal debris. God bless the makers of
waxed floss.

Red meat is soooo good, however, I'll gladly put up with it. But I must
admit, I have to floss almost right away sometimes or it drives me crazy.

On a slightly related topic, I've found that leftover roast beef is far, far
tastier than leftover chicken or fish. Newbies might want to keep that in
mind, especially if you haven't mastered roasting yet. It's worth the
effort!
