Hello listers

Last night we had a documentary on Dutch tv about the salmon. A fish
loved so much by the programmaker he went on a queeste to find out as
much as possible about it.
The traditional fishinggrounds in Schotland find themselves with less
fish then ever before.
The Norwegian breeders of salmon where he filmed explained him that the
beautiful pink color of the fish was due to coloring in their food! As
they are no longer eating natural at all they need to be boosted in
color to be attractive for the market. The worse news was that
dioxines in the foodchain add up so much that they (the breeders)
recommended eating salmon no more then once a week......... Now that
is really sad.
