I'd say no, but only from my own experience.

When I was born, they were pushing formulas and not doing any educating on
breast feeding (and putting the mothers out for delivery), so when I,
apparently (I don't remember :), didn't immediately suckle, they not only
put me on formula, they decided I was lactose intollerant and made it *soy*
(grumble)...

Anyway, while I inherited some ankle weakness from my mom (never could play
tennis without twisting something), I was active as a kid and my perferred
method of zoning out in college was distance running.

My sister and brother were also formula fed and both always have been very
active in sports.
