I've been using recipe program which allows me to track my diet and
calculate the foods counts using the USDA database. I thought others might
be interested in the various counts for a fairly typical paleo diet day.

breakfast: 7 oz of bacon, 3 eggs fried in bacon fat
snack: 3 black mission figs
lunch: chicken of the sea pink salmon 6 oz w/salad dressing, zucchini,
snack: 3 black mission figs
dinner: ny strip steak grass fed 12 oz, turnip 2 cups, honey 1 tsp, butter 1
tbsp
snack: 3 black mission figs, kiwi

Nutrition Analysis: calories 2199, protein 151 gm, carb 169 gm, fiber 31 gm
total fat 108 gm, saturated 35 gm, mono 38 gm, pufa 11
gm
calcium 565 mg, iron 20 mg, sodium 3409 mg, potassium
5035,
magnesium 357 mg, zinc 26 mg, copper 1.82 mg, vitamin a
3152 iu,
thiamin 1.58 mg, riboflavin 2.31 mg, niacin 33 mg, b6
3.08 mg,
pantothenic acid 6.81 mg, folate 251 ug, vit c 144 mg,
b12 15 ug
selenium 241 ug, vit e 3.58 mg ate, phosphorous 7928 mg.

Except calcium the rda is pretty well covered here. Amadeus seems to feel a
diet high in meat will be lacking pufa's. Since a diet high in pufa's seem
to correlate with increased cancer risk I prefer to keep mine on the low
side and the above seems to indicate it is right where I want it to be.
