IPTW Dork Award
It is not, I repeat, NOT fair to identify Michael Edision w/ any dork award
as 1) he sent a very competent and experienced surrogate to cover his
demonstration on stone patching and 2) his input and guidance, as a co-chair
of the PTN Business & Commerce Committee was invaluable in the success of the
commercial exhibitors at IPTW 2000.
Every commercial exhibitor that I spoke with said that they found the event
stimulating and worthwhile and that they intend to be at IPTW 2001.
On another note... the unmentionable exhibitor that dropped out 10 days
before the workshop and that DID not send a surrogate and did not assist
through the year of planning got caught out by their customers... a report
coming back from someone in Salt Lake City, Utah -- "Why were you guys not
there?" So... as of last night, via a frantic cell phone call, we have our
first confirmation of a commercial exhibitor & demonstrator for IPTW 2001.
Thanks,
