It's probably better that way. Anybody from out in the great unwashed
hinterlands undoubtedly sees it the same way (God knows I did). If you ask
me (and you did, or I wouldn't be responding now, would I?), the last
thing Noo Yawk needs is a bunch of provincials running (or more accurately,
moseying) around getting in the way of the foreigners and the rest of us
trying to get our work done. Who needs all those slow-talkers
lumbering around in front of you and gawking when you're already late,
goddammit!
