Hi, Irene. I take an acidolpholis capsule (refrigerated) ea. morning on an
empty stomach, organic yogurt later in the day and a ginger capsule with
dinner. I think your friend should spend some time building up gut bacteria
so the meat can be digested. She can also eat pineapple, bromelain and
take digestive enzymes.
My "raw diet" dog get the same friendly bacteria supplements I do and -
hey - she eats only raw meat/bones, veg, fruit, nuts, seeds, and a few
additional supplements. Her transition from a lifetime of processed dog
food to raw took a short period of time; but I paid a lot of attention to
her gut bacteria. Because her body is smaller than a humans, I could see
progress sooner with her than with myself.
