Hi Susan,
You said:
<<I have an infection on some fingers. I haven't had an infection since I
started paleo so this is quite a surprise.
Are there any paleocures for this inflammation? My nails are splitting a
bit because of this condition. Could I be eating something wrong? Could
this be a fungus? staph infection? I am totally paleo sometimes eating too
much fruit.>>
Did your fingers begin their condition as an infection (rapid onset) or was
there a pre-exisiting condition that has escalated?
It is more than likely a fungal infection, as it is not limited to one
finger as a staph infection be. Fruit definitely aggravates fungal
conditions.
Fungal infections are a symptom of an impaired immune response. Existing
toxins in the liver, spleen, lymph, and intestines have built up to a level
that is overwhelming the immune system.
Things that help eliminate the infection, while cleaning the body and
boosting the immune response:
Dark green vegetables due to their high chlorophyll content;
Raw garlic;
Decrease salt, eliminate fruit;
Seaweed ( rich in minerals; high selenium and iodine content);
Hydrogen peroxide (food grade) can be used internally - 3% hydrogen
peroxide can be used externally.
Have you been aware that your immune system is compromised?
I hope this helps.
Siobhan
