This is my first post to the list. I have been gluten free for 5years.
The diet is a challenge and a learing experience. I've recently been
diagnosed with rheumotoid arthritis. Does any one have information about
the relationship between the two? I know they are both autoimmune
problems.  I am very discouraged that I have so closley followed the
gluten free diet hoping to avoid its complications, and now have another
problem. It is progressing very quickly and I am very depressed. Any
information any one has will be appreciated.  Also, I am thinking of
getting a second opinion. My Rheumotoid Dr was not even interested in
discusing the Gluten allergy I have. Does any one know of any specialist
in the northeast PA region?
