Study identifies lifestyle factors linked to bone loss in coeliac
DISEASE Gender, malnutrition, disease severity and physical activity,
but not sunlight exposure or smoking, are independent factors that
affect bone loss in adults with celiac disease, according to an Italian

Apparently nutrition affects both lumbar and femoral bone density, but
physical activity affects mainly femoral, while gender affects only
lumbar density. So I guess you better be careful if you have a gender :)  -vance
