I am speaking for my support group in thanking Vance for his recent
post about our GF menus in Phoenix!

We'd like to also thank him for supporting our Celiac Awareness
efforts in Phoenix by patronizing one of the GF Menu restaurants.

When it comes to community awareness of Celiac Disease, many
Celiacs are of the mistaken belief that they are only one person and one
person can't make a difference....Or that they don't have time to get
involved with community awareness of our GF lifestyle. That couldn't be
further from wrong.

Every one of us is an ambassador! Every single time we eat at a
restaurant which has a gluten free menu provided by our local support
group, we are furthering the cause for Celiac Awareness! Every time we
take a minute to explain Celiac Disease to a friend, a waiter, or a
salesperson we are furthering the cause for Celiac Awareness!

There are SO many of us out there. Every one of us CAN make a
difference!

Keep on eating out AND keep on talkin'!

>The support group in Phoenix is doing an excellent job, and it might serve
>as model for other energetic groups who might wonder what services they
>could get involved in. As I understand it, people from the Phoenix group
>have visited several sympathetic restaurants in the area and showed them
>which of their offerings they might say were GF. After spending a week
>there and being able to go into several restaurants there and simply ask
>for their GF menu, I was very impressed and wish to thank that group for
>their efforts.
