Mr. Darboe:

Mr. Lamin Dibba's candidacy has not been confirmed by the
of UDP.  When Mr. Darbo met the press earlier on this week,
he announced the nomination of Mr. Bakary Jarju as the UDP
candidate for Kiang East.  The newspaper stated that the
candidate for Baddibu Central has not been announced.

Please mark my word.  The leadership of UDP is set on a
strategy of wait and see with APRC nominating Lamin Sawo
as its candidate, thus voiding decree 89 to put more
pressure on Hon. S.M.Dibba to claim his old seat.  Mr. Darbo
will not make a mistake in not taking advantage of this
situation.

Please stay tune.  You are dealing with seasoned politicians
who will captivate on a strategy that might free us from the
evils of dictator yahya jemus.
