        Well this is SUPPOSED to work, each drive runs in it's own highest
supported mode. However, there have been incompatibilities between drives
and between drive and controllers that result in this not working out so
well.

        If the secondary is free then I recommend putting the second on the
secondary. You will get higher performance on drive to drive transfers. Hope
