Hi David,

I use the Epson 1200U scanner with the slide attachment.  It is a bit pricey
but if you can, it is well worth it.  Be aware that if you want it for both
photo and slide scanning you will have to order it with the slide
attachment. Both Epson and HP make very good printers for photos but some
are better than others. It would be to your advantage to do a little
research on the various printers before making your decision.
