Hi all,
First thanks everyone for all the helpful advice I have had to date.
With that advice, I am now trying to eat a varied diet, including a variety of meats. (Different animals, different parts. Some "organs", some muscle, etc.)
By eating a variety of parts, (my thinking is that if I was hunting game, I would likely try not to waste _any_ of it) I end up with some bits (floating rib section etc.) that are very fatty.
Clearly, most game (particularly paleolithic game) would have been much leaner. However, I have also hear the view expressed that "the more fat you eat, the more fat your body will burn".
What is the current state of opinion, should I cut off fat and stick to leaner cuts, or gobble down fat without any guilt? :)
Jim.
