Seems many on this list find this to be true, myself included. I think nuts
fall into the "Bet you can't eat just one!" category, a successful
advertising slogan for potato chips. Roasted and salted nuts/seeds cause more
bingeing than unsalted raw. Also, when we eat other foods, we generally put a
certain portion on a plate, eat that amount and then stop. Eating nuts
becomes a non-stop affair! I try to curb my gluttony by taking a handful and
that's all, but I'm always fighting the urge to go back for more.
