I had that grocery-budget problem, too. I solved it by biting the bullet
and paying more for grass fed meat for one week to try it out. The brand I
found was Coleman. They have beef, chicken, pork, lamb and possibly other
types of meat, too. I paid a little over $5 per lb. for the beef and $3 or
$4 per lb. for the chicken. However, I was very satisfied because the meat
tastes better and I actually eat less of it for some reason. So I don't
have to buy as much meat. Cheaper isn't always the best way to go, as I've
discovered.
Thanks for your ears.
I cannot find *any* meat under $2.50 per pound and that
is frozen chicken at Sam's club.
