Hi Dena,
You said:
<<.For example, it says that each tablet (of the dessicated) is 130 mg.
My
synthroid dose is .175 mg, which is quite a difference.>>
** There is no comparing dose levels with different medications. Because
they are prescribed for the same problem does not mean their mechanism of
action is the same.
<< I'm assuming that the natural form is not at potent, but I would like to
know how to estimate my dose other than just by trial and error.>>
** In order to take the correct dosage you must have the correct lab
values. The operative word here is CORRECT. Additionally, Nutri-Med's
product is not made from the same components as the Armour product.
Your thyroid function is too important for you to be playing guessing
games with dosages. My most frequent observation about the Armour product
'wannabes' is that they are unpredictable in their effects on people. I've
experienced first-hand, and seen others turn into raving lunatics using
products like Nutri-Med's product.
Do yourself a favor. See an open-minded professional and ask for the
Armour product.
