The only way to figure this out is how you feel. Do you feel that you have
constant high energy level? Do you feel like running all the time? Do you
seem hyper and animated all the time? Does your mind constantly keep coming
up with new ideas? Do you read voraciously on a wide range of subjects? Do
you have a high libido?

I can answer yes to all of the above, and I take no supplements of any kind.
I eat small amounts of food -- what would be snacks to most people. I eat
almost exclusively in an organic restaurant, which makes a huge difference to
the flavor and nutritional value of the food. I generally eat eggs, soups,
beef tacos, with small amounts of fruit and vegatables. Also dried meat
jerky, and ground up seeds and nuts.

I also eat in a Spanish tapas bar, where the food is extremely high quality,
and again small portions, and virtually no starch (no fried potatoes). I also
eat -- guess what! rich french pastries in a French bakery. Chocolate
eclairs, kiwi mousse.. really good, and very rich (high fat) and little
starch. I drink a lot of tea, generally high quality black tea, like
darjeeling, also some green tea, and yerba mate, from south america.

I take plenty of natural exercise - I try to hike in the mounrtains or desert
at least once a week, and I get plenty of sun exposure. These things all
contribute to a feeling of well being. If you take care of your body, it will
tell you what it needs.
