As Drs. Eades point out in "The Protein Power Lifeplan", the first half of this
statement is an erroneous conclusion.   Farmed meat contains more fat than the
steaks and filets of wild game.    BUT, paleo man ate the whole carcass,
including all the high-fat organs of the game as well, resulting in a large
percentage of fat in the diet.

And, there is nothing wrong with SFA.   Ideas that it is dangerous are largely
the result of political maneuvering in the 1970's, when the edible oil industry
railroaded the US Government into declaring that "saturated fats" were bad for
your health from no real hard evidence.   This is documented in:
