I had chicken pox in second grade, and now I have had shingles three times
badly and once lightly. I think my brother (father of my nephew who has
shingles) had chicken pox at about six. No idea how old my mother was when
she got chicken pox. But she's 84 now....
And, I do not live near enough to my brother's family to know in detail what
they eat, pretty conventional stuff, a lot of processed things but usually
not a lot of sugar, they are more into sugar substitutes, and they all have
strong dietary idiosyncracies and NO tolerance for hearing a WORD about what
they eat....
