Next time you can just say Yeah, look I can push all the other pretty
buttons to.  Grin when you do this and stare them down.  Of course, they
probably think they were doing you a favor and won't get the joke...

Oh, yeah!!  I know how that one goes.  I was in a lift the other day
with an elderly couple, and I pressed the `up' button, and the husband
said to me, `Well done' in just that nauseating tone of voice.
