Has Ralph Nader turned into the obsessive Catain Ahab, hunting the great
white whale and causing his own destructions -- AND EVERYONE ON HIS SHIP??
I think so.

As much as you and I might love Ralph Nader for what he has done
for us, for consumers and for safety regulations, a vote for
Ralph is a vote for Bush.  BE REALISTIC.  Moreover, if Bush wins
this election, it could destroy EVERYTHING Nader and we have
fought all our lives to achieve.  It could set us back for the
next forty years!

A Bush presidency could mean the end of Roe v. Wade, the ADA,
tort law, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, SSDI, Social Security and
affirmative action.  IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT just recall how in
'92 the Republicans vowed to DESTROY Roe v. Wade and let Medicare
wither on the vine.  Do you think the Republicans have suddenly
changed?  THEY HAVE NOT!  The rabid right wingers like Tom Delay,
Archer, and Burtons are just waiting in the shadows to pounce on
Medicare and Social Security once Bush is elected!

Republicans are hiding their radicals and changing their rhetoric
to appear "compassionate."  But they are real CALCULATING!  They
saw how their unpopular views hurt them in '92 and '96.  As a
result, they've changed "destroy Medicare and Social Security" to
"fix Medicare and Social Security."  But we all know EXACTLY what
these wolves in sheep's clothing mean.  And without a Gore to
veto their destructive "fixes," we will all be hurt terribly!

So urge Ralph Nader to back out of the race and switch his
support to Gore.  And when you get in that voting booth on
election day, BE REALISTIC and vote for someone who'll PRESERVE
the things we've spent our lives fighting for.  And if you are
disabled, a woman, or a person of color, you know EXACTLY who you
need to vote for -- AL GORE!
