I'm looking to buy a scanner to replace my Logitech PageScan Color. I
understand a SCSI driven would be better but for portability I'm
thinking USB or parallel, I hear USB is faster, is that so?

My main interest is to scan pictures, I want the scan to be as close to
the original as possible. With my Logitech the that was not the case,
the quality of the scanned picture was far from the original.
