David,
Win98 should be able to detect it. It should come up as a QIC80 if I recall
correctly. I had 4 of them years back but have since gone onto bigger tape
drives.
Good luck,
Tracy
Subject: [PCBUILD] Colorado tape drive
'allo,
I have a retired friend who is running a desktop system
built around an Amptron PM-9100 (Socket-7) main board.
He is more determined than knowledgable.
Someone has given him a 250 mb Colorado tape drive
without any doc. I've not been exposed to such a beasty.
And, I suppose because "it's HP", I am finding very
little info on the web.
He's running Win98. Any info about such a device, its
installation and/or configuration would be much appreciated.
Danke,
David
