My experience is similar. While on medicine for HBP I ate a paleo diet and
my pressure was about 118/73 average. I went on a SAD binge and my pressure
went up to 140/92. Now, back to almost paleo (I eat a little cheese) my
pressure is 110/73. All the time on BP medicine.
I eat about 1 tsp of sea salt per day and do not restrict my salt intake at
all.
